Question: What warranty does my ECKey product come with?
Resolution:
This ECKey product comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty (from the date of the original purchase). A proof of purchase must be presented before warranty services are performed.
The warranty only covers material defects and workmanship of this product. This warranty by no means covers failure or defect due to the abuse of this product by misuse, abuse, moisture, heat, human error, faulty installation and all aspects mentioned in the safety section of this manual. This warranty will only cover the applications mentioned by or/and approved by ECKey. The warranty will not be covered if product is taken or used outside the specifications mentioned in this manual (temperature range, voltage supplied, etc). ECKey will not be liable for damage caused by 3rd party products.
If the warrant is exercised then ECKey will reserve the right to fix or replace the product with a new or refurbished equivalent product. A Return Material Authorisation (RMA) available from the website in the Support section needs to be completed before warranty is granted.
