Dear Valued Partner,
Control4 has identified a problem with the upgrading of 1.2.2 and earlier Control4 systems to the current 1.2.4 release. We encourage you to not upgrade systems in this category until we have released the fix to this issue. We expect to have the fix released within 24 – 48 hours and will notify you at that time.
Specific details:
Version 1.2.2 and prior version Control4 systems which have been upgraded to 1.2.4 have a configuration file which is not being overwritten. This causes, in certain circumstances, the Audio streaming functionality of the product to fail. This problem is manifest if you start playing audio and the audio session terminates after a short period of time (usually less than 30 seconds).
This is not a problem for systems which were previously upgraded to 1.2.3 (released Dec 2005).
If you have already upgraded a system in this category and encountered this problem, it is possible for you to manually correct it while on site. Please contact Technical Support for details on this process. If you’ve already left the customer site, you will want to wait for the fix and then upgrade the system again.
If you have encountered this problem and have any questions about how to resolve it, please contact Technical Support for assistance.
Regards,
Eldon Greenwood | Sr. Product Manager
